Terms of Service

Terms of Service

These terms set the baseline rules for access to the public site and the software service. Commercial agreements and signed order forms control where they add more specific obligations.

Agreement scope

Effective date: 2026-03-23. These Terms of Service govern access to the Docsift website and hosted software service.

If you access Docsift on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms. Commercial terms in an order form, statement of work, or signed agreement control over these website terms if there is a conflict.

Service description

Docsift provides software for finance document intake, review, approval, and export workflows, including optional AI-assisted extraction, company-specific configuration, and downstream export handling.

The service may change over time as features are improved, replaced, or retired. Docsift may also use third-party subprocessors and infrastructure providers to operate the service.

Accounts and access

Access is currently invite-only. Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and for ensuring that only authorized users access the service.

Customers must not attempt to bypass access restrictions, probe the service for vulnerabilities without authorization, or use the service in a manner that could harm the platform or other customers.

Customer responsibilities

Customers are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and rights associated with the data they submit to the service. They are also responsible for configuring their teams, downstream integrations, and optional AI settings in a lawful manner.

Customers should review outputs before relying on them for accounting, tax, regulatory, or legal decisions. AI-assisted features are intended to support workflow preparation, not replace professional judgment.

Fees, pilots, and commercial terms

Pricing, pilot terms, implementation services, support commitments, and payment terms are governed by the applicable quote, order form, or other written commercial agreement. If no commercial agreement exists, access may be limited, suspended, or terminated at Docsift’s discretion.

Data protection and confidentiality

Where Docsift processes personal data on behalf of a customer, the applicable data protection obligations are governed by the customer agreement and the Data Processing Addendum. Each party will protect the other party’s confidential information using reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature of that information.

Availability and acceptable reliance

Docsift aims to operate the service reliably but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation. Customers should maintain reasonable internal controls and should not treat the service as a substitute for required accounting review, legal advice, or regulatory compliance analysis.

Termination and contact

Docsift may suspend or terminate access for breach, security risk, non-payment, or misuse of the service. Customers may stop using the service in accordance with their commercial agreement.
